On Monday we launched our new joint report, The Case for Investing in Primary Prevention: Ending Men’s Violence Against Women, alongside the Centre for Protecting Women Online.

Violence against women and girls (VAWG) is not inevitable. Investing in primary prevention, through changing attitudes, values and structures that sustain inequality and violence, is essential to ensure the Government reaches their commitment to halve VAWG within a decade.

🌿 Our Build-a-Bench Course is in Full Swing! 🪚

Our latest group started at the beginning of November, and they’re already making fantastic progress. They’ve mastered their stools, and before long they’ll be moving on to crafting a beautiful, handcrafted bench.

If you — or someone you know — is looking for a unique, sustainably made bench, or if you know of any events or organisations that might commission one, we’d love to hear from you!

✨ Get in touch and let’s see what we can design together.

Your support helps us continue our woodland, heritage craft, and wellbeing projects — thank you! 🌳💚

At Midnight and over the following 24 hours, the annual rough sleeper count will commence across the Telford and Wrekin Borough.
The annual count sets out to establish a snapshot of the number people sleeping rough in a 24-hour period, across the whole of England, with our focus being on the Telford and Wrekin borough.

This is an important day for Telford based Voluntary homelessness organisations and the Local Authority to understand the numbers of people sleeping rough in our area, and how joint efforts to reduce rough sleeping are having an effect.

As a collaborative team, staff will be visiting a host of known locations across the town, engaging with people sleeping rough, perhaps already known to services, as well as those who we are yet to establish a connection with.

To ensure contact with as many individuals as possible is achieved, we are asking people within our local communities to pass on any information about people sleeping rough in their area.

If you have witnessed someone sleeping rough close to your home or seen someone bedded down / camping in your local vicinity, we would ask you to get in touch with us and share as much information as you can. We will use the information you share to search and establish contact with that individual, adding them to the count and offering support and assistance where possible.

Please help us to reach and help others.
