Felix’s Big Day at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC ⚽💛
This week, Amy Varney (Operations Director at Komplex Care) took her family to Wolves where her son Felix was given the opportunity to walk out as an official mascot for the Wolverhampton Wanderers FC vs Manchester United match.

This was an incredible moment for Felix and the whole family. Because of Felix’s autism, large crowds can feel overwhelming, especially in a packed football stadium, but Felix absolutely shone.

"Seeing a club create such an inclusive environment, supporting Felix and allowing him to be completely himself, meant the world."

Amy said the whole experience was just amazing and she wanted to give special thanks to Soki Makarounas, Schools Officer at Wolverhampton Wanderers Foundation, whose support made all the difference. Felix connected with him instantly which helped him feel safe, seen and ready for his big moment.

695 children. 33 percent more than last year…

This year, Little Stars are gearing up for their biggest Christmas campaign to date, aiming to provide a gift for each child supported by the initiative. For many families across Shropshire, the challenges of everyday life means that Christmas presents and the joy they bring are out of reach.

From donating over 50+ toys to joining yesterday’s corporate wrapping day, we’re committed to helping Little Stars make a difference. Knowing that every gift we donated and wrapped will bring a smile to a child who needs it most makes every moment worthwhile.

We want to take this moment to appreciate Little Stars and the incredible work they do to support families across Shropshire.

Donating 50+ Toys to Little Stars ❤️🎁

Our amazing team has been busy collecting gifts for children and young people aged 0–17, supporting Little Stars and their mission to make sure babies and children who may not otherwise receive a Christmas present still get to open at least one gift on Christmas Day.

Every child deserves to feel the magic of Christmas morning. But for many families across Shropshire, the challenges of everyday life mean that gifts and the joy they bring – are out of reach. Little Stars’ "Santa’s Little Stars" campaign helps bridge that gap, ensuring children whose parents cannot afford gifts still experience the excitement of Christmas.

We’re incredibly proud to play even a small part in supporting this campaign and in bringing a little magic and joy to children who truly deserve it.
