That’s what a supermarket staff member said to our Operations Director, Amy, when her son Felix - who has sensory processing disorder - tried to self-regulate in a busy queue. But not all disabilities are visible. Moments like these highlight why real change is still needed.

We caught up earlier with Andie, our new People Partner, who’s already making a big impact supporting our teams with all things People & Culture. ✨

“Even though I’m not on the front line, I know that what I do helps support our teams and clients every day - and that really matters to me.”

➡️ Outside of work, Andie brings the same creativity and warmth into her personal life. When we asked who she’d love to have dinner with, her answer didn’t disappoint:

"If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders - because I firmly believe laughter burns calories, and between the three of us, we’d be practically doing cardio over dessert. Plus, who wouldn’t want to swap HR stories for hilarious sketches and possibly end the night in a spontaneous Ab Fab-style karaoke session?"

Almost a month ago, Tay, Molly, and Chris took on the Great North Run - not just for the challenge, but to make a real difference. Team Komplex ran the 2025 Great North Run (13.1 miles!) in support of Newlife the Charity for Disabled Children, raising funds for life-changing equipment to help children and families in need.

Yesterday we had the amazing honour of holding the cheque - showcasing that we have raised an incredible £3,555.81 to give these children the support they deserve. A truly proud moment for us all! ✨
