This month, our service shoutout is to A Better Tomorrow !

A Better Tomorrow is a peer‑led charity based in Telford and Wrekin that provides supported accommodation and tailored programmes for people who have experienced addiction, mental health challenges, homelessness, or domestic abuse. Their approach combines practical support with understanding, dignity, and lived experience insight which all goes towards helping people not only survive but move toward stability, confidence and belonging.

Two of our team members had the pleasure of attending their recent charity launch, and it was inspiring, insightful and full of energy for positive change.

We know that families experiencing Child to Parent Abuse often face overlapping challenges, and services like this make a real difference by offering safe spaces, practical support and community connection.

We’re grateful for the work they do and we're excited about future opportunities to learn, collaborate and strengthen support for families together.

🎉 Please join us in celebrating our brilliant COO, Martin Cantrill, who has been invited to share his use of AI with charities across the UK in a recent article!

Martin is one of those brilliant technical minds who quietly works things out and gets things done. He is always focused on what matters most at A Better Tomorrow: our clients. Humble and dedicated, he is the last person to seek recognition for the impact he makes.

We are incredibly proud to see his work being recognised and shared widely 👏

Today we celebrate Social Prescribing Day and our amazing team of Social Prescribers 💙

A reminder that health is about so much more than medicine. It’s about connection, community, and support. From local groups to creative activities, social prescribing helps people find what truly improves their wellbeing.

Social prescribing can support you with a wide range of needs, helping to improve your wellbeing by connecting you with local community services and activities that suit your interests. You’ll be supported by a Social Prescriber who listens, understands, and guides you.

It involves working with someone who takes the time to get to know you, focusing on what matters most, what you need, and what you enjoy.

If you are a patient at Court Street Medical Practice or Stirchley Medical Practice, please get in touch for further information:
📧 Talk2@telford-mind.co.uk

If you or your partner are expecting a baby, or have a child under two, we also have a team of Perinatal Social Prescribers. For more information:

Let’s continue to recognise the incredible work of link workers, community organisations, and healthcare professionals who make this possible every day.
