Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin NHS Talking Therapies Service provides information, guidance and talking therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and counselling.
To access these services you need to be aged 16 or over and registered with a Shropshire or Telford and Wrekin GP.

• shingles (for over 18 years old)
• sinusitis (for over 12 years olds)
• urinary tract infections (for women aged 16-64 years)

Did you know? Anyone can catch the flu — but for some people, it can be much more dangerous. You’re at higher risk of serious complications if you have:
- Breathing problems (asthma needing steroid treatment, COPD, cystic fibrosis)
- Heart conditions (coronary heart disease, heart failure)
- Neurological conditions (Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy)
- Diabetes or Addison’s disease
- A weakened immune system (HIV, AIDS, chemotherapy, steroids)
- Are very overweight (BMI 40+)
…plus other long-term conditions like kidney or liver disease, spleen problems, or a learning disability.
