❄️ Understanding Frozen Shoulder: The 3 Stages ❄️

Frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) can be a long and frustrating journey. Knowing the stages can help you manage expectations and recover with confidence.

👉 Stage 1: Pain Dominant Phase (2–9 months)
Gradually increasing pain, often worse with movement and at night. Early stiffness may begin.

👉 Stage 2: Stiffness Dominant Phase (4–12 months)
Pain may ease slightly, but stiffness becomes the main challenge. Range of motion reduces significantly.

👉 Stage 3: Resolution Phase (12–42 months)
Stiffness slowly reduces and shoulder function steadily improves.

💡 Good news: With the right guidance, exercise progression, and hands-on care, recovery is possible.
If you’re experiencing shoulder pain or stiffness, don’t wait, early assessment can make a big difference.

🔍 Ankle Sprain? Here’s How to Tell the Grade

Not all ankle sprains are the same. Understanding the severity helps guide proper rehab and recovery. 👣

🔹 Grade 1: Minimal stretching, no tearing
➡️ Mild pain + swelling, usually no bruising, stable joint.
⏱ Recovery: 1–3 weeks

🔹 Grade 2: Partial ligament tear
➡️ Moderate pain/swelling, possible bruising, some instability, painful weight-bearing.
⏱ Recovery: 3–6 weeks

🔹 Grade 3: Full tear/rupture
➡️ Severe pain, significant swelling/bruising, major instability, unable to weight-bear.
⏱ Recovery: 3–6 months

🏥 Early assessment + tailored rehab = faster, safer return to activity.

💪 If you’ve rolled your ankle, don’t guess — get it checked by a physiotherapist.
