Last night, these incredible people slept rough in Tenby as part of The Great Tommy Sleep Out. Raising vital funds and awareness, helping to provide safe shelter and mental health support to homeless veterans.

Yes… he's only gone and bought another fancy gadget 😅🙈

Ben may have a slight weakness for investing in incredible kit, but we promise we are not just collecting them for fun… although he does rather enjoy using them! Every machine in this room earns its place.

🔍 Diagnostic Ultrasound - real-time imaging so we can actually see what's going on beneath the surface and confirm or diagnose with a much greater degree of accuracy

Focused Shockwave - deep, targeted treatment for persistent tendon issues

Radial Shockwave - great for wider soft-tissue and muscle pain

We are so glad the ultrasound scan helped confirm plantar Fasciitis and that your first shockwave session felt manageable (that elastic-band description is very accurate!).

I am extremely fortunate to be part of an amazing chiropractic community where we share our skills and help each other. Yesterday, I visited Ben at tenbychiropractic for a ni**le in my right foot that I’ve been trying to ignore for months! Some of you might already know Ben if I’ve ever referred you for an ultrasound scan.

As part of my appointment he did an ultrasound scan to confirm that I definitely have plantar fasciitis- you can see in this image the different thickness in the tendon on the right compared to the tendon on the left.

I then had my first shockwave therapy. It felt like someone flicking the inside of my foot with an elastic band - not painful, but a weird sensation!! It’s not a quick fix, it’s a process, but I’m already feeling a little easier on the foot.

I’ll be skipping around snowdon marathon by October 🤣 I would highly recommend Ben and his shockwave machine for anyone struggling with chronic tendinitis ❤️
