🌿✨ My Skincare Journey: From London Training to Fee’s Skinfood — and Beyond ✨🌿

Fifteen years ago, I stood in a small training room in London, surrounded by beakers, botanicals, and endless notes on ingredient chemistry. I had no idea then that learning how to formulate skincare would become one of the greatest passions of my life. What started as curiosity quickly became a calling — a deep urge to create products that truly nourish the skin, not just sit on it.

The Early Days: Creating Schmoo

My first brand, Schmoo, was where everything began to take shape. It was the place I experimented, learned, and fell in love with natural formulations.

The Birth of Fee’s Skinfood

As my knowledge deepened and my confidence grew, I felt called to create something even closer to my heart. Something purer. Something more aligned with the way skin truly behaves.

And so, Fee’s Skinfood was born — a collection rooted in natural, organic-inspired ingredients designed to calm, hydrate, lift, and nourish, but I knew I had to create more for midlife skin.

A New Chapter: Midlife Skin & Menopause

Then came my own midlife chapter — and the realisation that the skin changes in ways no one prepares you for. Texture shifts. Hydration drops. Sensitivity flares. Glow diminishes. And many of the products on the market simply didn’t meet the needs of menopausal and midlife skin.

I knew I had to evolve Fee’s Skinfood once again.

Not just for myself — but for every woman navigating the skin’s midlife transition.

Six months ago, I took a giant leap and stepped away from The Hilton brand after 21 incredible years of running businesses within Hilton hotels. It was a huge decision — but one I knew I was ready for.

Spetchley Gardens has given us the most tranquil, grounding space that our clients have truly fallen in love with. 🌿

I also said goodbye to my Schmoo Skincare — my first ever step into formulating my own products. It will always hold a special place in my heart, but I’m so grateful for everything it taught me and so proud to have grown into the beautiful world of Fee’s Skinfood.

The last six months have been a whirlwind of new treatments, new products, a new therapist… and of course, my dream team who make every day magic. ✨

Growing, glowing, and still going at 57 ✨

As the founder of Skin Food, I’ve always believed in nourishing yourself from the inside out — and this year, that meant pushing myself in a whole new direction.

I’m proud to share that I’ve officially completed my Zumba Instructor certification! 🎉💃 Thank you to Sandra Bayliss who was an amazing instructor and mentor.

Dance was my passion for so many years as a trained dancer… and life has beautifully brought me full circle. 💃❤️

At 57, I’m proving to myself (and hopefully to others) that you’re never too old to learn something new, challenge your comfort zone, and fall in love with movement all over again.
