Alignment = Hormonal Feedback in Perimenopause
Most people think posture is ‘cosmetic.’
Here’s what I see as a registered nurse:
Posture changes how you breathe — and how you regulate heat, sleep and hormones. If your ribs are compressed, breath becomes shallow, your stress system stays lit, and symptoms like night sweats and brain fog get worse.
A few alignment cues each morning can expand your breath, improve sleep and even reduce symptom spikes.
Today's 1‑minute cue: stand tall, slide your hands to your lower ribs, inhale to expand sideways, imagine 3 small balloons filling under the ribs, then exhale fully. Do this 5 times before bed if you can.
Curious how posture might be affecting your symptoms? Book a 20‑minute Purebody Alignment Scan and I’ll give you three personalised cues to try. Comment POSTURE below and I'll be in touch.
