Today is the start of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

It’s important to know the signs and symptoms – especially as risk increases with age. Most cases develop in men aged 50 or older and prostate cancer is more common in Black men.

Prostate cancer often develops slowly, so there may be no symptoms for many years.

Early diagnosis and treatment can save lives. Contact your GP if you notice any changes in your body or something doesn’t feel right.

Dear Patients

You may notice a number result appear in your NHS app, referring to patient need groups/Johns Hopkins score.

This is a simple way in which we categorise patients based on their specific health needs, which helps us with personalised care. This means that you will get the right support by the right clinician, at the right time. No action is needed from you.

Thank you

To help us get the right care for you as quickly as possible - We have gone live with our new online AccurX total triage.

All medical and administration requests to be submitted via our website or the NHS app. It is a very simple form to fill out so please do give it a go if you need to contact us.

Please remember one form per problem, so we can prioritise and allocate the right solution for you.

If you do not have access to the internet or find it difficult to use a computer or smartphone, you can still call and speak to a receptionist who will assist you with the form.
