Children are offered the MMRV (measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox) vaccine as part of the NHS routine childhood programme.

The number of doses your child is offered depends on when they were born.

As your surgery will be closed over the Easter bank holiday weekend, we want to make sure you’re still able to access the medicines and support you need.
If you’re one of our patients in the Thanet area — whether you’re based in Broadstairs, Margate, Ramsgate, or Westgate-on-Sea — please take a moment to check local pharmacy opening times before heading out this weekend.
What you need to know:
Most pharmacies will have reduced hours on Good Friday and Easter Monday, and the majority will be closed on Easter Sunday — with one exception: Paydens Pharmacy in Broadstairs, which will be open 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Sunday.
