Really interesting interview with those with DID and their Altars. I know first hand it is real as I have worked a number years with a client with DID and their Altars. Its fascinating and a privelage to witness, whihc has also required a lot of relational safety and trust work. In providing this environment they are gradually moving towards a 'whole' identity and sense of being.

We spend so much time and energy on mental health treatments. While this is important and sometimes life saving, we sometimes don't look upstream enough and think about why people are falling in! 🏞

I posted this yesterday and included an AI video.🤖 Some people pointed out that it's not great for the environment, and after doing some research, I decided to remove it. Lots of people had asked how I'd made the video and 20k people had already seen it. I don't want to contribute to influencing others to make poor environmental decisions or contribute to the demise of artistic professions in anyway. It doesn't allign with my values. 💜

Such a privilege that Prior's Court was the foundation to all my learning, education and understanding of what potential can be achieved for a person with autism that has carried through into my therapeutic practice today.

Beyond the words, just in movement, a complete stranger felt and held for me the emotion that is always hidden from myself disguised as physical pain. When working with the sensations of pain more was processed and understood between us than any words have had before. A powerfully moving moment in the midst of the .dcop conference.
