Our telephone provider is still working to resolve the issues but normal service has resumed and we can make and receive calls.

Healthcare Assistant (HCA)

Hours: 29.5 hours
Pattern: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 08:30 - 17:00, Thursday 13:00 - 17:00.
Salary: Depending on experience

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly Practice team of healthcare professionals.
In this role, you will assist our clinicians in the care of our patients, including treatment, preventative care, screening and patient education.
You will work under the direct supervision of the Lead Practice Nurse and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols.
The post will also include some administrative duties.

The ideal candidate will need to be friendly, confident, methodical and efficient with excellent communication skills, a strong sense of empathy and resilience. The successful candidate must be able to work on their own initiative and have good time management skills.

You may have seen in the news that there is a Meningococcal disease outbreak in Kent.

UKHSA is working to contain the outbreak, and they are giving prophylaxis antibiotics to close contacts.

5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer

5k Your Way is a support group for anyone living with and beyond cancer, their families and friends, and those working in cancer services.

They're passionate about community, friendship and fun.
They meet up at designated parkruns on the last Saturday of every month.

Everyone is welcome!

There is no expectation to run or even walk 5k, people can be supported to do as little or as much as they feel able, or just meet and chat and have a coffee (which will be in the Control tower after and during the event for anyone who wishes to take part).
