Seeing a report this morning that playing fields are potentially under threat due to changes in planning laws.

I hope this isn’t true.

Did we learn nothing from the sale of playing fields at schools years ago.

The health of the nation is the most important challenge we all face and restricting/reducing access to sports and outdoor places is crazy.

A simple dog walk , clearing the head = realised something id been trying to work out for the business has a really easy solution.

We can be guilty of making things too complicated sometimes.

Increased movement = better health, doesn’t have to be complicated or hard all the time.

Just as additions to the business (and life) simplicity is often the best option.

From hormonal cycles, to life cycles, the earth cycles - we are affected by them in different ways. It’s something women are aware of as their hormonal cycles change, periods stop and the ebb and (literal) flow of life alters.

Earlier this year I gulped and took a chance to return to an old gym.

So happy I did. It can be a bit scary going back to old haunts, not knowing whether to ‘go back’. But last night we had our Christmas gym night out and if I needed more proof that it was the right move (I didn’t by the way) last night proved it.

Old friends, new friends , outwardly you’d think the only thing we have in common is we exercise in the same building - but it’s much more than that. The connections and long friendships created that will last long.

If you see this and were there last night, 🫶. And I hope your fuzzy head recovers soon 🤣

Its always worth a reminder, for your mental welfare..

When you join any group or forum online there is an agenda. Someone is trying to get their message over to you.

From fans of a band (they will be proper fanning and criticise at your peril) 🤣, to a business coach (dont diss their methods, either they or their followers may jump on you in judgement) 🧐, to menopause groups (some vibe in the direction of HRT, some dont - but both seem to have very strong views and dont you dare say otherwise) 🥺.

Obviously this doesnt fit all groups or forums, some are amazing, welcoming and truly want to listen and learn from each other. Others however may make you feel uncomfortable and judged. Leave those ones.

The power of 'unfollow', 'block' or even 'report' is in your hands. There are not many times in life when you can take action so decisively. You have the power!

Create a feed that fuels you, makes you feel good, and lightens the mental load - not one that creates distress or brings you down. Your mental health willl thank you for it.

Another reminder, the snooze button is amazing! If you feel like youre seeing someones posts a bit too much, snooze them for 30 days. They by magic theyll pop up again later.

But the best tip, if you want to see someones posts who lifts you, makes you feel great and benefit from their messages - engage with them, like, comment and share the love.
