East Air Ambulance Funds Raised... 🙌
Care staff at Buckingham Lodge in Watton and Downham Grange in Downham Market helped to raise valuable funds for East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) following volunteers giving fascinating talks to their residents. 🚁

The staff all from Kingsley Healthcare were so impressed with the informative presentations delivered to their residents that they wanted to contribute. 👏👏

Christmas Trees Galore🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄

Not One but Two fabulous displays have been created in Downham Market and Watton with over 200 pieces of art involved. 😍
The Christmas Tree Project was the brainchild of Kingsley Healthcare Community Engagement Marcia Hughes who contacted schools in the region to see if they would like “to create a few trees” for a display. 🌲🎄

“We were so impressed with a similar display that we created in the Summer of Butterflies for Mental Health that we decided to do it again and the results – well just beautiful with so many children wanting to get involved” “It’s like a Where’s Wally but with Trees” 🙌

The Christmas Trees were all designed by children ranging from ages 3 – 11 with just a simple instruction to be creative.
A total of 10 School and Activity Groups got involved to help create the masterpieces with Downham Market and Watton Library Services providing the venue for the displays which will be available to see until the New Year. 👀

Hillcrest and Nelson Primary Schools, Downham Market Nursery, Swan Youth Group, Girl Guides and Scouts all got involved from the Downham Market areas.
Whilst Watton Infants, Carbrooke, Parkers and Caston Primary Schools in the Watton areas all contributed along with Friend in Deed Intergenerational Children’s Group and Care home residents. 👏👏👏

Siobhan Jibb Hospitality Manager for Downham Grange who helped put up the trees commented “ That was a lot of trees, but It’s such a wonderful collaboration of something so simple which can bring such joy, a great Community effort” 🎄🌲🎄

A huge Weight Lifted 🤩
This amazing trio at following a silly dress up day decided something had to go.. 👉
A whopping 14 Stone between them to be exact 🎉🎉
An incredible achievement in less than a year through grit, sweat and tears. ❤️
Spurred on by everyone with special thanks to another staff who kept them on them on the straight and narrow 👏👏
