National Fitness Day 2022
Today Wednesday 21st September is National Fitness Day. A chance to highlight the role physical activity plays across the UK, helping to raise awareness of its importance in assisting us lead healthier lifestyles through being physical active.
Exercise should be for all and I have loved my career in fitness which spans over 20 years. The early days of teaching sweaty classes, sweaty classes back to back, morning, afternoon and night. Setting up and delivering exercise referral for individuals with medical conditions through to offering services for individuals with back pain, pelvic floor weakness or general aches and pains which limit exercise possibilities.
In my fitness journey my love of Pilates was founded. Pilates has took me through physical rehabilitation, been kind through my mental darkness and allowed me to keep exercising when diagnosed with a chronic condition. I have worked with individuals with severe chronic medical conditions and/or injuries and watched them progress beyond all expectations, with a core and pelvic floor to be proud of!
