The memory tree is up in Thetford Cemetery, we are putting one up in Lakenheath Cemetery (instead of our office) and along with the Brandon Cemetery - these will be ready on Monday. Wooden hearts will be available free of charge, as always xx

Hello, if anyone has anything they no longer need, that we could sell for our charity (including Christmas decorations/ornaments for our Christmas stall) please either get in touch or pop into one of our offices. So appreciated! Raising funds for a playpark in memory of local lad Liam and all the babies and children no longer with us, but missed every day xx

Our exhibition at the Brandon Heritage Centre is now open! With words from Mark on how he got into the funeral business, including some of his family history and things he has collected. We would also like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for the brilliant and generous help in raising this impressive amount for our charity! We will be doing a separate post with more details on how we have got to this amount!!!

To commemorate my late Mother Crystal's 100th year - I have put together a display in the Brandon Heritage Centre, on the history of our funeral business - including some of my family history. Will be ready from this Thursday through September.

We feel extremely sad to be posting this. We have been asked by the lovely family who tragically lost 4 members of their family, Domingos, Maria, Afonso and Dom Serrano in a car accident in Portugal at the weekend to organise a goodbye for those who cannot make the funeral in Portugal. This goodbye will take place tomorrow, Wednesday 13th August at 4.30pm and will be an opportunity for anyone wishing to support the family, share their own memories and light a candle, with a dove release also taking place. My wonderful Mother, Crystal, would have been 100 today. A kind, funny, elegant and loving Mum and Nanny - who was always my biggest supporter, both personally and professionally (helping me by taking the work phones at night until well into her 80s). My grandfather, on Mum's side was also a funeral director in Brandon - so it must have been in the blood.
To commemorate my Mother's 100th year - I have agreed to do a display in the Brandon Heritage Centre including my family history, will give dates when ready.

People say to us, 'we had no idea you could do this' - it is because the tv ads are coming across as if they are the only ones who can offer this and that funeral directors are ripping people off! We have always done what our families have asked of us - be that the most elaborate and bespoke tailored funeral, to a funeral for family & friends to come together and remember their loved one in their own special way or a direct funeral where no-one attends, we take care of everything and deliver ashes back to you. An early surprise from the team yesterday - as the big '60' is not officially til next Saturday - Mark was very shocked and delighted! Fab start to his big week!!

Our sponsored display kindly and beautifully created by Emma & Rosie of Bunches and Bows, which can be seen in St Cuthbert's Church flower festival, Thetford, as part of the Thetford Open Gardens today - well worth a visit! All funds raised towards St Nicholas Hospice.
