Irene Jessop Funeral Service is Thornaby's ONLY family owned and run funeral service. Irene has been in the profession for over 35 years and is both a fully qualified funeral director and embalmer. The lovely family of the late Mr John "Fred" Carter have asked me to publicly post the details of his funeral that are as follows :

Peacefully at home on February 2nd with his loving family close by his side, Fred aged 74 years.
Much loved husband of Della, caring dad of Chantelle and Dean, very dear father in law of Lee, a beloved brother, brother in law and uncle and also a devoted grandad and "taxi driver" of Kyran, Jay and Grace.
Fred shall be deeply and sorely missed by all who knew him.
Service and cremation to take place on Wednesday February 25th in the Chapel of St Bede, Teesside Crematorium at 11.00am.
Would friends please meet at the crematorium chapel. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if so desired to the RNIB and Cancer Research UK. A collection box shall be available after the service.

Peacefully in hospital on January 22nd with his loving family close by his side, Dave aged 79 years.
Devoted husband of the late Elsie, beloved dad of Jane, Amanda and David, loving father in law of Paul and Nadine, much loved brother of Sylvia, Brian, Carolyn and the late Joan, a very dear brother in law and uncle and also a dearly loved grandad of Ewan, Anthony, Lucas, Jessica and Olly.
Dave shall be deeply and sorely missed by all who knew him
Service and cremation to take place on Friday February 20th in the Chapel of St Hilda, Teesside Crematorium at 10.30am.
Would friends please meet at the crematorium chapel. Family flowers only please by request. Donations in lieu if so desired to Breast Cancer UK and the Great North Air Ambulance. A collection box shall be available after the service.

Beloved wife of the late Ken, amazing mam of Jacqui and the late Gary and Tony, very dear mother in law of Geoff and Sheila, much loved sister in law of Nellie, a loving auntie and also a devoted and very special nana and great nana who shall be deeply and sorely missed.
Service and cremation to take place on Friday February 13th in the Maplewood Chapel, Stockton Crematorium at 12 noon.
