Calling all movement lovers looking to get a spring clean booked in for March 2026

This retreat is serving up a BIG portion of movement practices not just the standard hour in the morning yoga and in the evening. We start the day with a deep yoga practice followed mixed movement workshop or a skills focused workshop eg - forearm stand/ fluid spine, cartwheels. (Practices will always be at the level of the group that forms)

Ater lunch we get out and explore and hike along the coast and take our practice outside and play with some movement puzzles or we will head to the sauna to relax our muscles. Evening practices will be restoritive, soft and gentle.

The food is INCREDIBLE and the house we are staying in is ridiculously boojie you will feel like a King or Queen!

This is our second year heading back to Cornwall, Polzeath and i’d love for you to join if this lights your fire!

1) great if your wrists get sore in wheel as it reduces the angle as well as the shoulders if they are tight. In turn it gives you more power to press out through the arms and move your chest forwards ( towards the wall) and up

2) this requires good amount of strength and opening in the shoulders as it’s further to to press up. Great for getting out of the lower spine as it offers some length and not such a deep angle due to the legs being lifted on blocks.

3) moving from flip dog to wheel is a fun transition to play with and removes the press up fro the floor. Make sure your hand is not too close to your bum as remember the distance between your foot and hand is how acute or obtuse your wheel will be when hips lift. Make sure the arm you are lifting up from is externally rotated so the shoulder can rotate.

4) The Katonah wheel, lots of moving parts here so not going into details today but essentially it’s a wider wheel so if you are not so flexible or don’t want to go so deep this is a great option. You’re using the momentum of the hips to move you forwards and back on the mat.

As always remember to warm up LOTS before attempting any of these. Wheel requires a full body warm up as everything is being recruited. Inner thighs are magnetising towards each other always this will support your lower spine as your legs are awake and taking the load.

We are heading back to Cornwall baby and I srsly can’t wait.

Landing on spring equinox weekends, It’s going to be BIG spring clean vibes for your body mind and soul. 🧼

Together we’ll explore a wide range of practices, from yoga asana to outdoor and off-the-mat explorations, reminding us that practice isn’t confined to the mat but woven through the way we move through and interact with life each day.

To embody what it really means to have a holistic movement practice that adapts and changes through each season of life.

I create these retreats from everything I love, so you know that the retreat will have an electric energy full of my passion and expertise, sharing what I live and breathe on the daily.
