Heads up post .. I’ve set myself a challenge. If I don’t reach 500 Etsy sales by the end of this year, I’ll be closing shop in January.
This isn't begging for sales, just naming the reality. Etsy has changed. Social media has changed. The algorithm rewards money poured into ads, not the makers pouring heart into their work. I’ve put in time, craft, and care, but the return is shrinking while the platforms demands more.
I’d rather step away on my own terms than keep feeding a system that no longer works. So if I hit 500, I'll keep going, that number is my decision maker. If not, I’ll bow out and reclaim my energy elsewhere.
Thanks to everyone who’s supported Kooky C so far, you’ve kept it real in a space that dared to try. ✊💚
