A randomized, sham-controlled clinical trial published this year examined veterans with combat-related PTSD who completed 60 HBOT sessions at 2.0 ATA.

The results were remarkable: participants in the HBOT group experienced large reductions in PTSD symptom scores and measurable improvements in brain connectivity on functional MRI scans.
