As we step into the final month of the year, December invites us to pause, reflect, and celebrate the moments that truly mattered.

This is the season of kindness, a time to look back on all the good, happy, and meaningful memories we’ve shared throughout the year.
From small acts of care to big achievements, every moment has contributed to a year filled with compassion, connection, and community.

Let’s carry this spirit of kindness with us as we prepare to welcome a new year and to spread even more kindness in the days ahead. ✨❤️

It's World Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Awareness Week (WAAW) from 18th - 24th November. 🦠

It is a global campaign to raise awareness and increase understanding of AMR and to promote global action to tackle the emergence and spread of drug-resistant pathogens.

AMR is already harming our health, food systems, environment and economies. It’s not a future challenge. It is happening now. Drug-resistant infections are increasing, yet awareness, investment and action are still falling short.

Act Now: Protect Our Present, Secure Our Future.

With temperatures forecasted to drop across the UK over the next few days, it’s important to make sure that we’re looking out for our loved ones living with dementia.

Winter can be a particularly difficult time for somebody living with dementia. The bad weather and colder temperatures can bring specific challenges, and can sometimes make symptoms temporarily worse.

They may not always be able to communicate that they are cold – or they might not even recognise it themselves.
Perception issues can also make it difficult for someone with dementia to see icy patches on a pavement or understand that a surface may be extra slippery.

So make sure to check in regularly on loved ones, friends and neighbours living with dementia, and follow our useful tips to help support them through the winter.
