North Northants Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information, Advice, and Support Service (SEND IASS) is a statutory provision operating at arm's length of North Northants Council. We provide free, confidential, and impartial advice, guidance, and support to children and young people (0-25 years) with SEND, as well as their parents and carers. At North Northants SEND IASS, we empower children and young people with SEND, along with their parents and carers, to understand their rights, fulfil their aspirations, and reach their potential. Our experienced team possesses extensive legal and localised knowledge across education, health, and social care. We provide a variety of flexible services, including training, advocacy, appeal tribunal support, referrals to statutory and voluntary agencies, access to local and national support groups, a telephone advice line available Monday to Friday, and in-person appointments. We are dedicated to strengthening our community identity and enhancing our collaborative relationships to meet needs and ensure the voices of our children, young people, and parents and carers are heard.
