Norovirus is a stomach bug that causes diarrhoea and vomiting. It can be very unpleasant, but usually goes away in about 2 days.

You can usually treat yourself at home, but the most important thing is to rest and have lots of fluids.

Make sure you have enough prescription medicine for the festive period. 🎄💊

Don’t forget to pack your medication if visiting family!

To help protect our patients and staff, we kindly ask anyone attending the practice with respiratory symptoms — such as a cough, cold, sore throat, or flu-like symptoms — to wear a face mask while in the surgery.

Face masks help reduce the spread of infection and protect vulnerable patients in our community.

If you do not have a mask, please ask a member of staff and one will be provided.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep everyone safe.
