A full-body burner that strengthens your back, glutes, and core — and makes you feel like you’re gliding through the ocean 🌞

⭐️Breaststroke Technique⭐️

✨start by tucking your tailbone under to engage your core
✨squeeze your shoulder blades together
✨keep your eyes down as you lift your head and chest off the mat
✨work from the upper back
✨don’t arch your lower back to lift you higher
✨keep long through your body - you don’t want to look like a dolphin!

The key with this exercise is your start position and not letting your back arch as you lift up.

💪🏼The side lift💪🏼

✨start by activating your core
✨slide your hip down towards the end of your mat and lift up from the rib cage
✨lift your hips up towards the ceiling
✨don’t slump at the bottom
✨add some extras
✨add a band if you like

The key with this exercise is your starting position. Don’t slump and you’ll get much more from your side lift.
