Radial Shockwave Therapy is now available.

Radial Shockwave is a highly effective, non surgical treatment for chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions like plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy and tendon injuries.

This safe, non invasive treatment delivers low energy acoustic waves deep into the painful area, promoting a rapid increase of blood circulation and triggering the bodies natural repair mechanisms. By stimulating tissue regeneration and breaking down calcifications, radial shock wave therapy helps reduce chronic pain and often allows you to return to full activity without relying on surgery or long term medication.

Patients will need to be assessed for this treatment by the Osteopath for their first appointment. A course of four to six sessions is often required.

Osteopathic appointments can be booked online on the mornings but you’ll need to phone in for afternoon appointments and evening appointments. Due to the lack of availability appointments that are not kept within or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will need to be charged at full price. So if you dont feel you need it, cancel it. 😊
I will do my best . Hopefully in time for I will to attract another Osteopath but it is difficult to compete down south Osteopathic practices charge £58 for 15 minute appointments.

Experience: New graduates and experienced osteopaths welcome to apply, however experience encouraged.

Description: Osteopath wanted at the most northern multidisciplinary healthcare practice on the UK mainland. We are looking for a friendly new graduate or experienced Osteopath to work as part of our team of Osteopaths, Physiotherapist, Counsellors and massage therapist. The job role is full-time for 4-5 days a week.

Applicants must be registered by GOsC and have adequate liability insurance. Caithness Osteopathic Services is a multidisciplinary practice so applicants must be able to work as part of a team. Pay rates start at a reasonable 55% split with additional profit shares.

No more masks!

The current guidance for COVID-19 measures in Scotland has changed from Tuesday 16th May! We’ll still employ some measures to keep the practice as hygienic as possible.

Extended use of face masks and face coverings in hospitals, primary care and community healthcare settings are no longer required.

However, masks will continue to be available to those who choose to wear them or would like us to wear them!
