Blood Pressure Monitors – Return Request

We kindly ask any patients who have been loaned a home blood pressure monitor by the practice to please return it at your earliest convenience.

These monitors are needed for ongoing clinical use and to support other patients. If you wish to continue monitoring your blood pressure at home, we recommend purchasing your own device, which allows you to check readings regularly and at your convenience.

📣Important Update from North of Scotland Breast Screening Service 📣

We are aware of a recent issue with the printing of screening mailers which means there may be a delay in receiving your appointment or result letter from breast screening.

All the delayed letters have now been sent so please be assured that you will receive your result very soon.

For appointments, if you have a mobile number registered with us, you should have received a text reminder about your appointment date, but please note that the text does not include the clinic location.

What you need to do:

If you have already received a call from us to confirm your appointment/location please attend for your appointment as arranged

If you have not received a call or a text or think you may be due for screening soon, please contact us so we can confirm your details:

Whether you have an upcoming appointment

Your appointment time

The clinic location

Any other information you may need

🔴Breast Screening🔴

Please note that due to staff sickness the breast screening appointments arranged at the Dunbar Hospital in Thurso for the week commencing 01/12/2025 to 05/12/2025 have been cancelled.

Where possible the team have been in contact to reschedule appointments, but where it has not been possible to make contact a letter with an alternative appointment has been sent out or in some cases a letter has been sent informing of the cancelled appointment, and a further appointment will be allocated in due course.

We apologies for any inconvenience caused.
