People often ask how long cupping marks last—worried they’ll be stuck with bruises for weeks. But in most cases, they fade much faster than expected:
Also the style of cupping makes a difference in how much you bruise!

- Light marks: 2–4 days
- Moderate: 5–7 days
- Dark: up to 10 days (rarely 2 weeks for sensitive skin or strong suction)

🩸 Healing speed depends on:
Suction strength, circulation, hydration, nutrition (think vitamin C & iron), and aftercare.

💡 Want them gone faster?
Stay hydrated, apply warm compresses after 24 hours, use arnica or calendula oil, and avoid re-cupping the same spot too soon.

At the end of a full day seeing clients in my home clinic, my son came to me and said, “Mum, can you do cupping on me? I’m not feeling well.”
