Merry Christmas to you all! Thank you to everyone who booked in with me this year. I wish you all a happy Christmas and a wish to be kind to yourself tomorrow. Christmas brings up lots of emotions and is a magical time but it can be hard too especially when we remember loved ones who are no longer with us. I will be lighting a candle for them tomorrow to remember and wish them a happy Christmas too because they are still with me and I firmly believe that energy cannot die it just changes form. With love from my home to yours at this special time of year.

I wish you all a wonderful Winter Solstice when you can nurture the seeds of what you want to grow in 2026. I stepped outside to look at the sky and it just feels magical and special tonight. I hope you get the chance to look up too.

It’s the Full Cold Moon in Gemini tonight and this one is a Supermoon so will appear to be extra bright in the sky. We have a skylight in the kitchen and the moon was perfectly positioned tonight as I looked up in the kitchen and was bathed in her light. I made the decision to try and release negative thinking about myself as I have been struggling to get over a cough and cold and it has made me feel a little bit low for the last couple of weeks. I forget sometimes that my default was always to be hard on myself and feel guilty when I have to rest and Reiki really did help me so much with releasing these negative thought patterns but every now and again they like to pop their heads up and remind me that they are still there in the shadows ready to bite me on the bum if I let them! I suppose this post is to say that we all have our shadows and we all have to do the work so if you are struggling too then join with me in being a little bit kinder to yourself.

It’s World Mental Health Day today and I wanted to share an absolute game changer for me which is to accept whatever feelings are there and trying not to label them as “good” or “bad”. They are just feelings. It’s hard at first but it gradually starts to take the pressure off yourself. I hope this helps and I’m so glad that there is less stigma around mental health now. We all have mental health and we all need to look after it. Reiki is a really wonderful way to look after your mental health too.

I’m definitely getting Full Moon vibes today - I was on the bus this morning trying to gather my scattered thoughts and work out where these feelings were coming from and then it hit me. Full Moon energy. So tonight I will sit with her energy and slow down enough to honour the moon. It’s a Full Harvest Moon and also a Super moon which might be amplifying feelings at the moment. If so, be kind to yourself and I invite you to sit under the moon this evening and soak up some moonbeams with an intention of release or whatever feels right to you.

It’s a New Moon Eclipse tonight and the perfect time to set the wheels of change in motion. Change can be scary but it’s so important to keep myself open to the fact that changes in my life have been mind blowing and soul affirming so the fear needs to be moved through to get to the good stuff that waits on the other side of the fear.

I needed to take some time out this weekend to just rest and recharge - in all honesty we had to stay home because my daughter had a bad cold and I’m the type of person who starts climbing the walls when I’m indoors for too long but it made me stop and realise that I needed this too. So I had a bubble bath and put on a face mask and made bacon sandwiches today alongside making her hot water bottles and snuggling on the sofa. It’s hard to stop but it’s really important too. Oh I cleaned the porch too which was not so glamorous but much needed given the amazing amount of cobwebs! Here are a few self care ideas for you. Happy Sunday to you all!
