I'm going up to Dundee for three days, see if I can turn round the health and safety of a care home that's currently in special measures. 😁

I've received four phone calls over the last two weeks that start with-
"Is that Geoff? You've been recommended to me by..."

These calls relate to fire risk assessments, first aid training, fire safety training and our complete health and safety consultancy services.

It's nice to know that we're being recommended throughout the Lancashire and Yorkshire area for our commercial, industrial, schools and care sector related health and safety training and support services.

We've just completed another Paediatric First Aid at Work course, this time for a school in Todmorden. Delivered over four weeks as twighlight sessions, this reduces the impact on core service delivery.
That's another thirteen life savers in the area.

Hi everyone, sorry we've been missing for a couple of months.
We've had some significant issues within the familly that have been WAY more important than anything else.

Bragging about "this", celebrating "that" or advertising "the other" on the socials didn't really seem right.

It's just an explanation as to why it's all been quiet for a bit.

Today we delivered ten Maintenance of Competence records and ten vehicle health and safety packs to one of our construction clients in Rochdale.
We're currently working towards their Safe Contractor accreditation and preparing for a health and safety audit from their insurers on Friday.
We don't just do training!

As we draw 2025 towards a close, and look forward to 2026, our fire safety training in care homes will be turned up a notch! As well as fire simulation and evacuation scenarios, we'll be looking into communications, dealing with external agencies, business continuity planning, medical emergencies- burns, smoke inhalation etc.
