Tollesbury Surgery will be closed Christmas day, Boxing day and New year's Day.
Please make sure you order your medication in time( minimum of 2 working days) and that you have enough to cover the holiday period.
When we are closed you can contact NHS111 or in a medical emergency phone 999.
The urgent treatment centre at Colchester is also open
And can be accessed through the entrance to the right of the main hospital.

Tollesbury Surgery will be closed for staff training Thursday 20th November from 12pm, this includes Dispensary.
We will reopen as usual on Friday.

The three Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) responsible for commissioning NHS services across Essex will hold their first joint public meeting on Thursday 20 November 2025 at 2pm.

The Essex Joint Committee has been established as part of the transition towards creating a proposed single Essex Integrated Care Board from April 2026. The three ICBs that form the committee are:

- NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board
- NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board
- NHS Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board

The meeting will focus on transitional governance arrangements, aligning priorities across the county, and preparing for the proposed establishment of a new ICB.
