It's time for you to have your say in our Maternity Antenatal Education Survey 🤰

There were about 6,400 births in mid and south Essex between June and December 2024, but only 20% of expectant parents take antenatal education... we want to know why.

Please take a few minutes to complete a short survey to help us understand what’s working well, where improvements can be made, and how we can make services more accessible and inclusive for families.

🫁 Does your child have an asthma care plan?

Having a clear asthma care plan is crucial to manage your child’s symptoms, especially during the winter months.

Here are a few things you can do to support them:

🧴 Help them use their inhaler correctly – Asthma UK offers guidance or ask your GP or nurse if you’re unsure.
🏃 Encourage regular exercise to keep their lungs strong.
🍎 Ensure they eat a healthy, balanced diet to help control symptoms.
💉 Make sure they’ve had all their vaccinations, including the annual flu jab – speak to your asthma nurse for more info.
