My business came full circle today. My first pony was a Welsh pony called Harmony. She is the namesake of Harmony Equine Therapy and is the best way to honour her I can think of. To keep her name going and help horses and ponies be as comfortable as possible.

Today I had the pleasure of treating another little girls pony also Welsh and also named Harmony. Today it almost felt like my harmony from across the rainbow bridge was saying how proud she is of me and it felt so special to help another little Harmony feel relaxed and supple. It was an absolute pleasure to see this little pony and I cannot wait to see how far her and her little girl go as they go off jumping.

Anyone doing some Sunday stretches today, before or after a nice leisurely hack?

Stretches benefit;

• suppleness
• range of motion and flexibility
• decrease stiffness
• increase circulation through the leg

Something to consider spending a small amount of time to stretching to help improve your horse’s physical condition and movement.

Beautiful geldings are plentiful but none as gorgeous inside and out as Commanche. A lovely boy who thoroughly enjoyed his first session this evening and who I can’t wait to see again soon! 🏇❤️

This evening i was lucky enough to see British Olympian William Fox Pitt demonstrating the importance of properly warming up prior to competition among other things.

It is so encouraging to see that through proper care through equine professionals such as vets, physios, masseuses and chiros that horses are now extending their athletic career. More focus is being paid to the anatomical health and musculo-skeletal performance/maintenance to provide the best equine welfare.
