Scotts Project Trust

Scotts Project Trust Sessions in everything from drama and cookery to gardening, art and IT, enable our people to explore their interests and develop their talents.

Our Mission is to deliver an excellent service in a friendly, nurturing environment where people with a learning disability can choose how they are supported, and develop their skills to realise their aspirations. Our mission is: 'To provide a supportive and nurturing environment for adults with a learning disability that enables each of them to realise their potential for fulfilled and happy lives.'

We run three separate but interlinked services, each run to exemplary standard:

St Peter's Row: our residential care home is commended by the Care Quality Commission for 'inclusive, integrated care', St Peter's Row provides a homely base from which the 15 residents can enjoy busy and fulfilling lives. Day Services: welcoming over 85 adults with a learning disability every week, we offer an impressively broad range of sessions run by skilled staff who support service users to develop essential life-skills. Supported living: some people with a learning disability choose to live more independently. Nine residents currently live in our two supported living houses, The Oaks and The Willows, with support tailored to their needs.

Even Santa needs a laundry day! Our design today shows his outfit freshly washed and hanging out to dry ready for his busiest day of the year! πŸŽ…

Fun Fact: Santa’s classic red suit became iconic in the 19th century, and legend has it he always keeps it spotless for his big night of delivering joy!

A little reminder that preparation and care make all the difference β€” whether it’s Santa getting ready or us spreading kindness during the festive season.

πŸ‘‰ By supporting Scotts Project Trust you help adults with a learning disability prepare for a brighter future filled with care, opportunity, and joy.

If you could redesign Santa’s outfit, what fun twist would you add? πŸ€©πŸ’š

Today’s advent design brings pure festive fun β€” dancing elf legs in reg and green stripy tights! Because who says elves can’t celebrate halfway to Christmas? πŸŽ„πŸ’š

Fun Fact: In folklore, Christmas elves are known for spreading joy through music and mischief β€” and legend says they dance to keep the North Pole warm! ✨
It’s a reminder to take a moment today to move, laugh, and let a little silliness in.

πŸ‘‰ By supporting Scotts Project Trust, you help bring joy, opportunities, and meaningful support to adults with learning disabilities β€” a mission worth dancing about.

πŸ‘‡Tell us: if you were an elf, what would your signature dance move be? πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί

Day 18 πŸŒ΅πŸŽ… Today’s advent design brings us three festive cacti, each rocking a Santa hat !

Fun Fact: Cacti can live for decades and thrive in tough conditions β€” a festive reminder of resilience, strength, and standing tall through every season.

This time of year is all about celebrating differences and finding joy in unexpected places.

πŸ‘‰ By supporting Scotts Project Trust you help adults with a learning disability grow in confidence, independence, and joy β€” all year round.
