🧼 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝘁 - Wash your hands to stop the spread

▫️🏥 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆! 🏥▫️

Last week we attended our annual staff training session in medical emergencies, basic life support, CPR and using a defibrillator. This is an essential part of our ongoing skill updates for all of our staff! We also hold regular scenario practices and refresher sessions in our monthly meetings 👌🏻🦷

A huge 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 to our wonderful dental nurse, Ayshe, who recently received her certificate after passing her dental nursing exams with 𝗳𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀!! 🥳🎉
Ayshe is a fantastic dental nurse and worked so hard to achieve her qualifications - we are all very proud of her! 🤩

Remember...the Tooth Fairy loves squeaky clean, healthy teeth! So brush twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste, and see your dentist regularly, to ensure your teeth are '𝗧𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱'! 🤩

Today we say a really sad goodbye to our fabulous dentist, Seetha Thomas! 😪

Seetha started at the original practice back in 2010, so really is part of the furniture! She has been a fabulous dentist who has gone on to do incredible things in her career 🦷 She is also an equally fabulous colleague and friend to everyone - we have been so lucky to have her 🤩

The advice "𝗦𝗽𝗶𝘁, 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗲" after brushing your teeth refers to minimising rinsing with water or mouthwash after brushing...allowing the concentrated fluoride in the toothpaste to remain on your teeth for a longer period 👌🏻🦷

Rinsing your mouth after brushing dilutes the fluoride, reducing its effectiveness in strengthening tooth enamel and preventing cavities 😯 We want that all important fluoride to stay on our teeth for as long as possible to work it's magic! 🪄
