When you are installing a wall-mounted anaesthesia machine, try to position it at a comfortable working height for all members of your team.
Everyone should be able to read the vaporiser increments easily and view the rotameter or flowmeter bobbin straight on to avoid parallax.
A good height also makes it easier to reach the oxygen flush button when needed.
Clear visibility and easy access help support safer and more consistent anaesthesia for your patients.
Also, think about space for the airbreak so that it is positioned lower than the patient because anaesthetic gases are heavier than air.
