In loving memory of Arnold Lowrey (1938–2025). Family and friends are warmly invited to a Celebration of Life for Arnold, a much-loved gentleman and gifted artist whose creativity, warmth, love of life and colour brought light and joy to everyone who knew him. The service will be held at Barry Crematorium on Friday 14th November 2025 at 12:00pm. No flowers, please; donations are welcomed in support of Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern. It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the sudden passing of Sinclair Leitch, affectionately known as ‘Sinky’, on Monday 13th October 2025. A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday 18th November 2025 at 1:15pm at Coychurch Crematorium. At the family’s request, no flowers please; donations, if desired, are welcomed for The Lighthouse Project (Food Bank). St David’s Church, Tonyrefail, will be open on Sunday 2nd November from 4–6pm for a special time of remembrance.
All are warmly welcome to light a candle in memory of loved ones departed.
A short reflective service will be held at 5pm, with refreshments and support available from the Church Chaplains.

Funeral Myth 4: “If the funeral’s in a church, it won’t be about the person — it’ll just be religious.”

Truth: A church funeral may include some faith, but it can still be deeply personal. Most ministers today understand that the service should reflect the life that’s been lived — not just follow tradition.

Julie passed away peacefully on the 19th July at Y Bythyn, Royal Glamorgan Hospital aged 71 years. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. A funeral service will be held on Thursday 14th August at 3.15pm at Coychurch Crematorium. No floral tributes please as per Julie's request.
