Rhoda Watkins is an accomplished tracker, seasoned naturalist, and daring adventurer, deeply committed to bridging the gap between people and the wonders of the natural world. Her remarkable journey has led her to lead expeditions in some of the most untamed corners of our planet, from the captivating Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica to the vast expanse of Namibia’s Kalahari Desert.
Originating from South Africa, Rhoda’s formative years were imbued with a profound affinity for wildlife, nature, and environmental stewardship. A profound reconnection to her roots later inspired her return to Africa, where she pursued an immersive education in tracking formidable predators. Her quest led her to the revered San people in Namibia, esteemed worldwide as premier trackers. In a field predominantly dominated by men, Rhoda stands as one of the select few women who have delved into the intricacies of tracking with such dedication and mastery.
