We are looking for talented Registered Manager to lead a residential care setting. A successful candidate will be a caring, passionate and experienced individual who wants to make a difference to the lives of the individuals we support.
We are looking for a confident registered manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and business minded individual who wants to make a difference to the lives of the individuals we support while at the same time take on the challenge of developing our service. Our latest inspection report left some voids that need filling. We have made some significant improvements already and we have implemented digital care planning software and EMAR into the home. We are looking for a driven and determined individual who not only has the skill set but the set belief / confidence to help turn the final corner and set the home back on track and obtain back at least our GOOD rating.
Key Responsibilities
These will cover the main areas below:
Develop, mentor lead the team including front line leaders.
Holding registration for regulated activity
Budget holding responsibility.
Improving occupancy levels
building detail into care plans, ra's, mca's
Day to day quality and governance.
Support peoples choices, dignity and human rights.
Deliver the organisations vision and values.
Build internal and external relationships with agencies, partners and commissioners.
What you will need to do the role successfully
A positive, can-do attitude.
Person centred approach.
Be proactive, professional and able to deal with people at all levels.
Experience working with budgets, marketing and improving occupancy.
Exceptional communications skills.
Ability to lead, mentor and inspire a team.
Ability to develop and market pathways of care to commissioners and stakeholders.
You will hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, choosing the pathway of Management of Adult Services or Management of Adult Residential Services or equivalent
Experience of working with older adults, learning disabilities, neurological conditions, mental health (desirable)
Undergone 2 CQC inspections with an outcome of GOOD / OUTSTANDING
