Today we had a customer in for a service. They had mentioned that their brakes weren’t performing as well as expected and on closer inspection we could see that they needed replacing.
During the job we soon noticed that the brakes were of lower quality, which made the replacement process a bit more challenging.

Wet belts are prone to issues, and can deteriorate long before the recommended mileage limit is reached.

Symptoms of a failing wet belt to look out for
▪️check engine light
▪️engine misfire
▪️rough idling
▪️oil leaks, low oil pressure or check oil light
▪️unusual noises such as squealing, grinding or rattling coming from the engine

This Ford Transit Custom came in for a precautionary wet belt replacement, new front brake disks and pads, rear brake bearings, a lower gear box support as well as a full service including fuel filter.
