We ask for a Donation of:
£20 Univeral credit or other benefits
£25 ~ £45 standard donation
£55 full price, your donation is helping us support the most vulnerble through our partner charities. The Totnes Natural Health Centre opened its doors in 1978, and was the first charity of its kind in the U.K. The centre is unique in that we offer treatments on a donation basis. We ask for a donation of between £15-£40 for each session. All of the therapists and receptionists who work at the centre give their time free each week to provide the local community a chance to experience complimentary therapies at a reduced cost. All our therapists are fully qualified members of their appropriate professional bodies, and carry full indemnity insurance. You can arrange private appointments with each therapist by asking for their details at reception. We have 5 treatment rooms available and they can be hired at reasonable rates for private sessions, classes, meetings and workshops. The centre has a large reception, kitchen facilities and disabled access. Donation Session Conditions:
In the interest of fairness, each person is allowed a maximum of two donation sessions with each Therapist within a six month period. All sessions are subject to the full donation charge if cancelled for any reason within 48 hours: sessions for Monday need to be cancelled by midday on Friday to give us time to rebook. Please note that for Massage sessions in which Oils are used, there is an additional charge of £1 which goes to the Therapist to cover their oil costs. Similarly, a £1 charge is made for Art Therapy, Herbalism and Homeopathic sessions. For Counselling we allow customers to book a block of 6 sessions. We ask for a donation of between £60-£200 for 6 sessions. For Art Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Herbalism and Homeopathy we allow customers to book a block of 4 sessions. We ask for a donation of between £40-£140. Full payment must be made in advance. Other:
Anyone under the age of 16 must have a parent/guardian present during the treatment.

We are so delighted to welcome Rose Pearson to our team at the Totnes Natural Health Centre.
Rose is a qualified Biodynamic Craniosacral Practitioner. After debilitating injury and chronic pain, Rose turned to the healing arts in search of relief, discovered the biodynamic approach to Craniosacral therapy and experienced her first truly healing shift and deeply transformative nature of this work. Inspiring a change of career she attended Body Intelligence’s accredited 2 year practitioner training in Portland, Maine. After dedicating the last few years to study, she graduated in 2024 before relocating to Devon to build a practice and be closer to family.
Working with all ages and conditions, she went on to complete an End-of-Life care certificate course at the University of Vermont and studied infant fascia release with Lori Hendrickson CST in New York.

Donation rates are from £20 for those on benefits, £25-£45 standard donation and £55 guaranteeing a free treatment via our charity partners for the most vulnerable in our community.

So delighted to give 3 treatment vouchers this month. Due to the generosity of one of our clients paying £55 for a reiki session with Kate, we were able to donate an additional voucher for the food bank. Many thanks from us both 🤩🙏🥰

In Jonathon's words:
"The Alexander Technique is a gentle, practical method that helps you move more easily, improve posture, and reduce tension and discomfort in your body.

Typically, we explore the ‘you’ that does what you ‘do’, be it sitting at a desk,walking, lifting, performing or simply breathing. This is usually in the form of information gathering, plus or minus subtle hands on guidance. As awareness grows, activities often become lighter and easier.

With a background in physiotherapy and the performing arts, I bring a wide variety and many years of professional experiences to our sessions."

We are so excited to welcome Regina Neumann to the centre as our new Shiatsu therapist. Regina has a wealth of experience first gaining her diploma in 2012 and practising mainly in London, in a similar practice to ours. Regina also practices Angelic Reiki and Crystal Healing. She has started this week and was fully booked up and already has some fantastic feedback.
As you can see the pigeons also loved it! Regina took this picture at the end of her session, after noticing the birds sitting quietly soaking up the good energy 🥰🌈✨
