🌿✨ Continuing the Conversation at Care Roadshow Wales! ✨🌿

Happy Wednesday everyone 👋!

Yesterday, our very own Sarah Sabater 🌸 chaired another inspiring panel at the Care Roadshows Wales, held at Cardiff City Stadium 🏟️🎉!

Joined by her Son, Jonathan Sabater 🌸, along with brilliant panelists from Allegra Care and Hallmark Luxury Care Homes 🤝 — the discussion continued the vital conversation around delivering truly person-centred care, particularly for those living with dementia 🕊️💜.

Together, they explored how we can better train and support care teams to provide compassionate, individualised care — by asking, listening, and doing what matters most to each person 💬💞. This includes helping carers understand each individual through methods of communication that work best for them, and approaching every interaction with empathy, patience, and respect ✨.

It was a powerful and heartfelt session — uniting care professionals from across the sector to discuss shaping a more compassionate, person-centred future for all 🏡💜.

✨🐻 A Very Special Surprise for Sylvia! 🐻✨

Happy Tuesday everyone 👋!

The team at CareYourWay South Devon 🌸 recently treated one of their cherished clients, Sylvia, to a sweet and thoughtful surprise 💗. As part of this year’s “Present for a Pensioner” campaign 🎁, Sylvia helped choose the winning name for a bear in the “Name the Bear” competition at the Kingsbridge Show where names were entered by the public 🎪✨.

When the team brought the bear to her so she could choose the winning name, she adored him, naming him “Cuddles”, and was sad to see him leave when he had to go back 🧸💛. So the team decided to source a bear of her very own, and surprise her as a thank you — which Sylvia then proudly named “Teddy!” 🧸💞

This story shows how our teams notice the little things that matter 🌟, and go above and beyond to do something special and thoughtful, that can make someone’s day brighter 🌿🫶.

Today, we share a very special story from our amazing team at Care Your Way North Manchester & Salford 🌸, who recently had the pleasure of organising a truly incredible surprise for their client, Stuart — a lifelong Oldham Athletic fan ⚽🏟️!

Stuart often chats with his carers about the team 💬, sharing fond memories from matches he attended when he was younger 🫶 and keeping up with how they’re doing today 🥅. So, when the team discovered that Oldham Athletic were holding a signing event ✍️, they knew it was the perfect opportunity to do something meaningful for him 🙌 ...

Registered Manager Beth and her daughter Ella 🌸 kindly bought a football and queued to have it signed by the players — and the look on Stuart’s face when it was presented to him said it all 🥰💜!

This thoughtful gesture is a perfect example of how our teams go above and beyond 🌠, truly listening to and acting on what matters most to those they support 🙏. By taking the time to understand each person’s passions, no matter how big or small, we can help make moments like this happen that mean the world to our wonderful clients 👏!
