Tynemouth Medical Practice is hosting another Patient Participation Group (PPG) session on Tuesday 28th April. From 6:45pm to 8:00pm, patients are welcome to attend.

1. Previous Meeting Minutes
2. Long-term Conditions Management Survey.

The aim of the session is to discuss how we can improve our management of chronic conditions some of you may have, and confront any other learning points arising.

There is a reported outbreak of Measles in our area. As children prepare to return to school, check if your child is protected. Two doses give lifelong protection - give us a call if you are unsure.

Our GP practice is offering walk-in flu jabs next week, Monday–Friday. If you haven’t had your flu vaccination yet, please pop in at any time during our opening hours — no appointment needed.

You can get the free NHS flu vaccine if you:

— are aged 65 or over
— have certain long-term health conditions
— are pregnant
— live in a care home
— are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer’s allowance
— live with someone who has a weakened immune system
