We provide residential, dementia, respite, and palliative care for older people.

This afternoon we’ve spent a lovely hour listening to Gloria perform some familiar songs over at The Lakes. We really enjoyed ourselves!

We’ve been busy making poppies for Armistise Day yesterday and today. At 11am we paid our respects and held a 2 minutes silence, whilst listening to Big Ben and the Last Post 📯and watching the proceedings on the tv…
Afterwards we listened to war time songs with all the favourites of Glenn Miller, Dame Vera Lynne and many more….

Lest We Forget

This week we’ve been making the most of the autumn leaves and made some colourful pictures. We used some feathers too that were on the outside grounds of our beautiful home! The ladies had fun choosing the colours, shapes and placements of the these natural resources 🍁🍂🪶🍃

We had a games morning today playing hoopla and bean bag tossing! We had great fun joining in with this activity 😊
A couple of our ladies went to The Lakes for a drink and some snacks at their bar 🦇🎃

Today we celebrate our wonderful Yolanda’s 66th birthday! She’s been very spoilt by her husband, jewellery and flowers and a lovely cake! Have a lovely day YoYo!! 🎂💐

We had a few games of Hoopla this morning in the lounges. Some of our residents took part and did really well! The top scorer was Barbie with 120 points!! 🥳

This morning we had a flower arranging group with some of the ladies. They really enjoyed choosing their flowers and making the displays beautiful, the selection of colours look lovely! We displayed some in the home, and some in their rooms 🌹💐🌺🌷🌼

Happy birthday to our lovely resident Michael 🥳
We presented him with a beautiful cake made our fab kitchen team as we sang happy birthday to him surrounded by his family and friends today 🎂🥳🎈🎉🎊

Just a reminder that this evening we are holding our Cheese and Wine Quiz Night over at The Lakes. £5 per person which gets you cheese and your 1st drink, drinks are £2 there after from the bar. This is a fundraising event with all proceeds going to the activity fund for residents. This event is a 6.30pm arrival time for a 7pm start. Hope to see you there! 🍻🍷🧀
