Jo Collins - Sana Soft Tissue Therapy Pain is the body’s way of telling you something is wrong.

I'm a fully qualified and insured Soft Tissue Therapist with a Level 5 Professional diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy from London School of Sports Massage (LSSM) and I also specialise in ScarWork Therapy. Deep soft tissue massage is a treatment used to address a specific problem or dysfunction usually caused by one of the following;

Postural and structural imbalance
Occupationally related – caused by repetitive work
Emotional stress
Overuse injury from training
Medical (pre/post-surgery, a chronic condition or physical disability).

​The benefits of soft tissue massage from a highly qualified therapist are far reaching. If done correctly massaging soft tissue will increase blood flow to the muscles and move waste products that often get stuck in sore tight muscles. This restorative process allows muscles to relax, reset themselves and allows the body to repair more quickly. The effect of this will allow stiff joints to move more freely with less pain aiding flexibility and improving mobility. However, not only can it dramatically change your physical state the improvements you gain can have a significant knock-on effect to your general well-being and state-of-mind.

A wonderful weekend of mind and body connection through mindful movement from Gaynor@pilates_barre and restorative soft tissue treatment with me , delicious, nourishing food by and through taking time for ourselves, sharing moments of laughter, happiness and kindness.
