In the past couple of weeks we have been saddened to learn of the deaths of two much loved and valued members of our renew169 community. They will both be greatly missed and our thoughts and prayers are with all those grieving their loss.

Pete Curtis, who was actively involved as both a volunteer and visitor for several years, will be laid to rest tomorrow, Thursday 12th February. The café will be closed from late morning for a couple of hours, to allow staff, volunteers and visitors to attend Pete’s funeral.

There was also a well deserved cup of tea after the cleaning up! A big thank to the volunteers from the Tove Valley Centre as well as to the regular garden team.
