So, a bit of a training walk today. Only another 6 miles to go 🤣
Not too bad; another 5 months to go, just keeping fingers crossed treatment doesn’t mess things up too much - no news on that front yet I’m afraid.

So, 2 weeks ago today I was dreading my first general anaesthetic and what life was going to be like. This is what 12 days post op looks like for me - doing my exercises like my physio told me, and a wonderful 3 mile walk around Stowe with Chris. Very grateful to my medical and support teams - you are all amazing.

Thanks to everyone for their well wishes. As you can see my animal support crew are making sure I rest, and family and friends have been absolutely amazing - I am so grateful. Drains are out, I’m doing my exercises 😉 - prayers for continued great recovery and lymph biopsies to be clear appreciated. I’m missing seeing you all - it will be a while, but looking forward to seeing you all in 2026 xx

As many of you know, I’m currently on a journey of my own with cancer at the moment. To try and focus on the other side of it, I want to give back to the amazing team supporting me through doing the MacMillan Mighty Hike in the Yorkshire Dales next June. I’ll be hiking in the Yorkshire Pudding Squad team with family and friends.
