"As I have tinnitus, Jon tested my hearing and I have moderate to severe hearing loss.

Jon offered a few different hearing aids, the ones I purchased from him have an app that you can get white noise played through your hearing aids to help with the tinnitus.

I have very small canals in both ears, Jon has changed the speakers to fit my canals, different sizes in each ear. Jon is lovely, very easy to get on with, gives you great confidence that he knows what he is doing, nothing is too much trouble, he wants you to be happy.

He does home visits as well as seeing you in Chapmans, so you can see the difference the aids make in your own environment which is really useful and makes such a difference.

When Rachel was told that she needed hearing aids in her early thirties - she froze. She had such a negative perception of hearing aids but when she saw two young men in their 20's with hearing aids and using BSL - her perception changed.

As a children’s entertainer, she thought she would have to give up her job as she believed her new hearing aid would get in the way. But she says that it has actually made her so much better at her job. Now she wants to see more young people proudly showing off their hearing aids. 🦻
