Yesterday at LakeView was filled with warmth, laughter and one of our favourite little adventures — a lovely visit from our wonderful hairdresser Janine, who brought smiles, fresh styles and a gentle touch of pampering to everyone she saw. There is something truly special about these moments that make our residents feel cared for, confident and happy ✂️✨

It is often the small-but-big joys that make life at LakeView so meaningful — a friendly chat over tea ☕, a shared laugh in the lounge, a new hairstyle that lifts the spirit, and the comfort of familiar faces all around.

Most of all, our hearts are full when our nearest and dearest come to visit. These precious visits remind us that LakeView is not just a place to live — it is a place to belong. A place where friendships grow, memories are shared, and everyone is part of one caring family 🏡💞

Thank you to everyone who makes LakeView feel so wonderfully like home — residents, families, friends and our amazing team.

We are pleased to remind everyone that the Employee of the Quarter – Second Quarter 2026 nomination period is now open and will continue until the end of June 2026, with the winner to be announced in early July 2026.

Yesterday at LakeView we had such a joyful time celebrating International Moment of Laughter Day — and what a wonderful day it truly was! 😄✨

Some of our residents enjoyed a lovely Joke-Sharing Session, filling the room with smiles and cheerful giggles, while others gathered together for a Classic British Comedy Screening.
Unsurprisingly, our LakeView favourite was Mr Bean — bringing plenty of laughter as always! 📺😂

Meanwhile, another group chose a different kind of activity that brought just as much excitement and fun — Table Tennis! 🎾 What a fantastic bit of friendly competition it turned out to be. There was so much energy, laughter and brilliant sporting spirit all around!

These are the special moments we love sharing together here at LakeView — and with you, our lovely friends and community. 💛

🌿 Welcome to our New Brand Week at LakeView! 🌿

Although it’s a chilly April Tuesday, we’re sending everyone a warm LakeView welcome and friendly greetings from our wonderful community. 💙

Yesterday afternoon brought something truly special to our home — our “Sound of Music at LakeView” karaoke session filled the corridors with laughter, smiles and beautiful voices. 🎶 Residents and team members came together for joyful sing-along moments that reminded us all how powerful music can be. After all, music connects generations and brings people closer together. ✨

We also made the most of the fresh spring air with the return of our Walk Time sessions to the daily routine. Whenever the weather allows, getting outside together is a lovely way to boost wellbeing and enjoy the season. 🌼🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Here’s to a positive, energetic and inspiring New Brand Week at LakeView — we’re so happy to share these moments with our residents and team. 💫

🌼 Thursday’s Little Escapades at LakeView 🌼

Yesterday was one of those lovely days filled with smiles, simple pleasures, and special moments shared together here at LakeView 💛

We were delighted to welcome our wonderful hairdresser — and as always, fresh hair and happy chats meant plenty of happy faces all around! A little pampering goes a long way to brighten the day ✂️✨

There was also plenty of laughter during our family-style puzzle time and table-top activities. Residents enjoyed working together, sharing stories, and celebrating each small success along the way 🧩😁

In the morning, some of our residents enjoyed a gentle trip to the local newsagents to pick up their favourite newspapers — a perfect start to the day and a lovely opportunity for a little outing 📖☀️

Later on, our garden truly stole the show. Spring flowers are now in full bloom, filling our little garden with colour and joy. They are simply too beautiful not to share — and they warmly invite everyone to come and visit our peaceful outdoor space 🌷🌸🌿

Days like these remind us how meaningful the little moments can be.

His supportive approach makes a meaningful difference to the wellbeing of everyone in our Lake View community.

We had a truly lovely Wednesday afternoon at LakeView Nursing Home with our wonderful friends from Uebert Angel Foundation – with Mereani Kotomaikaciwa and her amazing little helpers 💛👼✨

Once again, they brought so much warmth, kindness and joy to our residents. We spent a delightful time chatting together ☕💬, reading Good News Daily 📖, and enjoying some friendly competition during games, activities and quizzes 🎲🧩🎯😊

Thank you so much for your visit, for the thoughtful treats 🍪🍫, and most importantly for spending such special time with us. Your presence always brings smiles, laughter and a very special atmosphere to our home 🏡❤️

What a lovely Easter Sunday we shared together at LakeView! Our Residents enjoyed a cheerful afternoon filled with music, smiles and great company, with wonderful live entertainment from the talented singer Glyn Jones 🎶

Thank you to everyone who supported our charity raffle — your kindness and generosity are truly appreciated. 💛

We are very grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special for our Residents. Your presence made the celebration even more meaningful and joyful. 😊
