Hi, I’m Alison and I am a Level 4 qualified yoga teacher who from personal experience is passionate about the benefits of yoga. I am keen to share my enthusiasm and knowledge with students through group classes and 1 to 1 sessions. Yoga found me late in life in what was a difficult period for me. It helped restore my physical and mental health by calming my anxious thoughts and giving me the clarity I desperately needed to see my future more positively and clearly. Yoga gave me much sought after and needed pain relief where traditional therapies and medicines had failed. Where for years I’d struggled to sleep, my yoga ‘tool kit’ enabled the quality and quantity of my sleep to vastly improve. In yoga we focus on bringing the mind and body into balance, to strengthen, to soften, to draw the mind inward, it is not just an exercise class, it is well-being. You will find my adult yoga classes really are suitable for all, from young to more mature years! – beginner to intermediate level, male as well as female and importantly, non-judgemental. Students can expect a relaxed atmosphere where classes will be gentle but challenging, focussing greatly on restorative poses, gentle flows, Yin Yoga, breath work and meditations; helping students build strength, flexibility and a more fulfilling and peaceful life.
