FOR PARENTS OF UNI STUDENTS

MY RESEARCH HAS JUST BEEN PUBLISHED RECOGNISING THE LINK between eating a good diet and anxiety levels in uni students.

To help your teenager cope with the stresses and strains of life at uni and to get the most out of their degree years, I RECOMMEND YOU encourage them to learn to cook three basic healthy meals from scratch.

This includes them
1. Shopping for the basic ingredients
2. Making the meals several times over the coming weeks so they can rustle it up without referring to a cookery book
3. Enjoying their efforts, eating the meal with family and friends

Three facts about blood cholesterol and health:

❤️Over half of all adults in the UK have high cholesterol
❤️High cholesterol increases the risk of heart disease
❤️Heart disease is one of the biggest killer in the UK (one death every 3 minutes!)

So please get your cholesterol levels checked. If you’re aged 40 to 74 you can have an NHS Health Check at your GP

Like James in the testimonial, you too can reduce your cholesterol levels by making changes to your diet.

These changes involve making swaps and adding in wholesome foods so we are not talking about depriving yourself.
