Today we marked Good Friday with some lovely traditions, including enjoying delicious hot cross buns and sharing time together in the cafe. In the afternoon we welcomed the nursery children for some Easter fun.
We wish everyone a peaceful Good Friday and a wonderful Easter weekend ahead!

Wear A Hat Day 🎩.
Today we proudly took part in Wear a Hat Day to support those affected by brain tumours. Residents and staff wore their favourite hats, from bright and bold to classic and cosy. All for a very important cause. We were entertained by the outstanding Leon Rose. A great afternoon of singing and dancing. Thank you to Barnardo’s in Troon for helping us out with an amazing selection of hats.

It has been a busy few weeks in Queens View Harbour. We have taken every opportunity to get out and about in our garden and in the local community. We have enjoyed trips out in the trishaw, visits to local coffee shops, arts and crafts in the garden, creating masterpieces in the DAT class, church services and a visit from the gorgeous Ted, the Pets As Therapy dog 🐕.

Motherhood is a bond that never fades. In Queens View Harbour, we are surrounded by incredible women whose love, strength and wisdom have shaped generations. We honour the mothers, grandmothers and mother figures who continue to inspire us every day with their stories, kindness and resilience. We also take a moment to remember the mothers who are no longer with us.

Thank you for the love you’ve given and the legacy you leave behind.
