A little Monday checkin from HQ 🤍

As we step into a new week, we just wanted to say how good it’s been to see familiar faces and new back on the HQ floor and to feel that great energy again.

There’s been lots of exciting things happening recently, sessions have included chin-ups, more weighted carries, and new challenges that members have been really enjoying. It’s been brilliant to see you all progressing, having a bit of fun, and building confidence as you go.

We’ve also been so grateful for the love you’ve shown in welcoming Miriam to the team. She’s already bringing great energy and support into sessions, and we’re excited for you all to train alongside her.

And if January has felt a little heavy for you just know that HQ is always here. A warm, welcoming space (yes, the heaters are fixed 😄), where you can show up exactly as you are, with no pressure at all.

Whether you’ve been in recently or it’s been a little while, we’d absolutely love to see you when you’re ready 🤍

✨ Meet Miriam ✨

You might have spotted a new friendly face around HQ recently, so we wanted to properly say hello 🤍

Miriam has joined the Coach Lucy HQ team and brings with her over 8 years of experience in the fitness industry. She’s a mum of two, recently relocated from Glasgow to Troon with her family (and two spaniels 🐾), and has already fallen back in love with being by the sea something that feels very us.

Her passion lies in supporting people who are new to exercise, returning after injury, navigating the prenatal or postnatal period, or simply finding their feet again after a break. She’s worked with people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, always meeting them exactly where they’re at.

Miriam’s approach to coaching is very much on the same wavelength as our philosophy here at HQ. It goes beyond sets and reps, it’s about connection, real-life support, a bit of banter, and meaningful conversations, making sure people leave feeling better than when they walked in.

She’ll be around supporting behind the scenes at HQ, getting to know the space and the community as we continue to grow in a way that truly supports you guys.

What to Expect from a session at Coach Lucy HQ

We’re a coach-led fitness gym that tailors every session to the individuals in front of us. Our workouts are programmed in advance, so you can be confident you’re getting the best possible session without the stress of deciding what to do.

You simply turn up, train, and let us handle the rest. You’ll also find a friendly, welcoming environment where everyone is supported.

Don’t be surprised if you leave having made a new best friend. Most importantly, there’s no judgement and no pressure. If you’re having a tough day, we’ll meet you exactly where you’re at.

Every session is adaptable and we guarantee you’ll leave feeling stronger, more confident, and in a better mood than when you arrived. 💙

Built in person. Built with care. Built through trial, error, and a lot of learning.

From running every class on my own to building a team that now that helps deliver over 56 in-person sessions each week HQ has grown in ways I never imagined starting in this industry 10 years ago.

We’re becoming clearer every year. About who we are. About what we offer. About who we’re here for.

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of any chapter so far.

Feeling rested, a little more recharged, and ready to see what 2026 has to bring. 💙

As we close the chapter on 2025, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to all.

This year wasn’t just marked by dates on a calendar it was built through showing up, week after week. Nearly 3,000 classes were coached in 2025 alone, adding up to roughly 2,300 hours of live coaching time. Hours spent encouraging, guiding, adapting, laughing, supporting, and holding space often far beyond the session itself.

Thank you for the early mornings and tired evenings. For the consistency, the returns after time away, the quiet determination, and the days when simply walking through the door was the biggest win. Thank you for the energy you bring, the support you give one another, and the trust you place in this space.

2025 has been shaped by you. Every session attended, every habit built, every moment of resilience.

We’re incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved this year, both inside and outside HQ. Thank you for being part of this community, for sharing the journey, and for helping make HQ what it is.

Here’s to closing the year with gratitude and stepping into the next chapter together 💙

Coach Lucy

In the last five years of studying health, fitness I have had loads of opportunities to work in this industry. The more I have taken on the more experience I have gained. Working with people of all ages with different goals in mind.

That's the great thing about my job its never boring no two people I work with are the same and everyone has a different reason for wanting my support.

Maybe its to gain knowledge, encourage you to try something new or just the support of having me there in this new training environment. Your reasons for wanting me as your coach are special and I am always exceptionally proud to be a part of that.

I work with individuals who are looking to change their lifestyle in the long run, not just quick fixes. I work with you to build a relationship so that you take as much as possible away for our sessions or coaching online.
