✨ Member of the Month Angela ✨

This month, we’re shining the spotlight on someone who truly embodies the heart and soul of HQ… our amazing Angela 🥰

An absolute OG girly, Angela has been with us since the very beginning, right back to our early days at the Meadowgreen Centre, those early morning classes where it all started.

She is quite literally the heartbeat of our 3:15 classes on a Monday and Wednesday. Always showing up, always giving her best, and always bringing the biggest smiles, the best laughter, and the elite food chat. A foodie through and through, we genuinely look forward to her recipes and recommendations just as much as her training energy.

Angela is a trooper in every sense consistent, supportive, kind, and such a joy to coach and train alongside. She brings so much more than just effort to our sessions, and HQ truly wouldn’t be the same without her.

So this one is so well deserved 💫

Here’s what a busy first week of February at HQ looks like.
Lots of lovely, happy faces getting their workouts done, early starts for birthdays with coffee and runs, big happy baby bumps.

Our Mini Rox class in full swing with great energy, lots of movement, and everyone getting stuck in.

A morning spent at Careers Week at Marr College, and our new front of house team helping us welcome you all in with big, happy smiles.

We ended Friday on a high with Friday Night Lights, followed by our lovely little Sip & Swap event, and finished the week with a big run, getting those miles in to help our Run Club reach the distance from Troon to Paris ✨

This Friday, we’re coming together for our Sip & Swap ✨

Have a clear-out at home and bring along anything you’re ready to pass on:

👕 Clothes
🧸 Kids’ clothes
🎁 Little bits and pieces you think someone else might love

Swap them for something new-to-you, or simply pass the love on to someone else 💫

We’ll be sipping, swapping and enjoying an evening together.

Any donations are hugely appreciated, and anything left over will be donated to suitable local charities 🤍

A little Monday checkin from HQ 🤍

As we step into a new week, we just wanted to say how good it’s been to see familiar faces and new back on the HQ floor and to feel that great energy again.

There’s been lots of exciting things happening recently, sessions have included chin-ups, more weighted carries, and new challenges that members have been really enjoying. It’s been brilliant to see you all progressing, having a bit of fun, and building confidence as you go.

We’ve also been so grateful for the love you’ve shown in welcoming Miriam to the team. She’s already bringing great energy and support into sessions, and we’re excited for you all to train alongside her.

And if January has felt a little heavy for you just know that HQ is always here. A warm, welcoming space (yes, the heaters are fixed 😄), where you can show up exactly as you are, with no pressure at all.

Whether you’ve been in recently or it’s been a little while, we’d absolutely love to see you when you’re ready 🤍

Here’s to another week of moving, and finding our feet together.

Coach Lucy

In the last five years of studying health, fitness I have had loads of opportunities to work in this industry. The more I have taken on the more experience I have gained. Working with people of all ages with different goals in mind.

That's the great thing about my job its never boring no two people I work with are the same and everyone has a different reason for wanting my support.

Maybe its to gain knowledge, encourage you to try something new or just the support of having me there in this new training environment. Your reasons for wanting me as your coach are special and I am always exceptionally proud to be a part of that.

I work with individuals who are looking to change their lifestyle in the long run, not just quick fixes. I work with you to build a relationship so that you take as much as possible away for our sessions or coaching online.
